Sherlock Holmes

The famous detective, Sherlock Holmes finds himself bored and unchallenged with his career as he is wrapping up his last case with his trusty sidekick, Watson who is moving on to marriage and new career. However, a mysterious murder draws them back into their crime solving partnership to unravel a devious plot.

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. The plot is fun, twisted and quick on its feet. The casting and acting is great, especially from the two stars. There's plenty of chemistry between the cast. Robert Downey Jr continues to impress. The production design and quality is also very high, adding to the atmosphere and feel of the movie. The way Holmes' genius is visually explained is original and entertaining as well. I was a little disappointed that Holmes famous line is never uttered. But lots of fun at the movies and setup for future sequels.
